Testimonials

"My truck broke down on the way to a sales meeting, which would have been a disaster.  But LaSalle Motors fixed me up in no time, getting my truck back on the road temporarily and finding me a great deal on a more reliable vehicle."

Vacationing in Montreal? Here are a few features:

Historic Old Montreal and the adjacent Financial District are now becoming a High Tech Center without losing the charm of the old city.  The development of the port area has opened excellent areas for tourists and residents both to take an afternoon or evening stroll.  Although Montreal is a cosmopolitan city, it holds proudly onto it's past.

Caleche rides through the old city are a particularly romantic way to see the sights.  At night,  City Hall (center) is brightly lit with varied colours.  During the summer the streets are always alive with people, either relaxing at one of the many outdoor cafes and restaurants, or watching the free shows.  Sometime an innocent bystander  will even get dragged into the fun.

Montreal has become a vital venue for conferences from all over the world.  So much so that the fairly new Palais de Congress is already undergoing an  expansion.

The elegant arches shown below signify the entrances to China Town.  There are a number of such arches, different in design, spanning main roads.  Within China Town itself the pedestrian rules, and Asian delicacies of all kinds abound.
Actually, Montreal often closes some of it's main streets so that the many festivals can pour out of the theatres and onto the  pavement.  July sees the yearly Jazz Fest, and the Just for Laughs comedy festival.  Montreal  also hosts the Highland Games, the Celtic Fair, The Medieval Fair, various car and bike shows, and spectacular floral displays in the Old Port area, and at the ever popular Botanical Gardens.  Night and day, the Montreal Casino's doors are open.

It would take pages to tell  you about all  the sights, from the scenic route over the mountain that gave this city it's name, to firework displays put on by major countries, to a first class amusement  park, and fun water slide just outside of town.  History and the Modern era, mixed with just  plain fun, makes Montreal a great place to visit, summer or winter.

But before you do any of that, you have to see one important landmark:  LaSalle Motors, holding down the same spot on Newman Boulevard for the last 13 years.  After you see them,  you will have the ability to see everything else!
